dear anonymous,
Craig wrote that the talk is free - and I assume he ain't foolin'!

I can't wait - I wonder if there will be any heated portraiture-related debates...watch, out Craig, I hear Crummey is vicious (lol)

who's moderating this?
i used to be on the rooms mailing list. but they must have given up on these internets as a way to promote stuff. i agree, it will never catch on.

In Anonymous' defense, er... Other Anonymous, I was in the process of fixing the post to include the cost when their comment was made.

Shauna McCabe will be moderating, and questions from the audience will be encouraged.

And not only is Crummey vicious verbally, from what I hear he's got a mean left hook.

actually the talk is "included with admission to The Rooms". (according to the ad in the Interpendent) so, $5.

What? I thought it was free! Oops! Sorry everybody.

Transcripts just may be made available here. I'll see what I can do.

transcripts? what century is this?

it would be a lot easier to just record it and post it somewhere.

i would be surprised if they didn't archive it in some way.

of course there are releases and copywrite issues but since this practice has been pretty common for the last few years I would hope that they have thought about it.

Here's a link to one of the innovators in this kind of stuff.

but, a little podcast after the talk could be geared up very easily.

I'd love to do a podcast but I'm completely inept when it comes to that stuff. Little help?

http://www.therooms.ca/artgallery/ If you scroll down, there is audio from the event (in the right sidebar of the page under Media). At least it's there today. Not sure how long it will be there.
